Located in Rowville, South East Melbourne, Loaded Barrel is family-owned and proudly independent.
A project of passion from Head Distiller and owner, Bob Wilhelm.
2018 was the year that Loaded barrel was conceived, a distillery that was independent and family run. The goal was to create a family legacy, but more importantly, damn good whisky and gin - the stuff you dream of drinking as you watch your clock slowly tick down to 5pm on a weekday.
With a small team of 3 staff, every bottle of spirit gets the time and attention it deserves.
We pride ourselves on creating spirits that reinvent tradition.
Loaded Barrel is finally ready to demonstrate the family’s work over the past years in crafting our Australian spirits, with our first awaited release, Missfire Gin.
